To every one that may have some thing similar:

I am setting up an industrial waste oil filtration facility, under the principle of multiple vassel filtration or staged filtration.

We will be filtering the oil through physical or mechanical processes cutting down the micron level on each stage, from >100 um to down of 20 um or lower with fine filtration as requested.

Anyone with experience on this type of service?

In India we are offering Oil Condition Monitoring with Laser Particle Counter and cleaning it as per International Standards like NAS/ ISO. Our off Line Filtration System pumping Capacity is 3000 Ltrs. / hr. and laser particle Counter can be directly mounted on it and on line testing and programming is possible.

Dear S.V. Dave:

We have set up a tank farm with tanks next to each other. We want to make the filtration process between the tanks. We will start with cleanable strainers or bag filters down to 25 um and then with disposable depth filters.

We want to run a trial with waste oil from diesel and gasoline engines mixed with some transmision oil and process it with out adding sulfuric acid. Do you think we will come out with a good and usable light oil?

What are the Tank Capacities and What type of Oil are stored ? What cleanliness level that you want to achieve ?
You can filter the Oil with the system that we have.
