Basement Flooding from a Broken Sump Pump

I woke up to find water pooling in my basement, and I think the sump pump has failed. I’m unsure whether I need a repair or a complete replacement. Is there a way to troubleshoot it myself, or should I contact a professional plumber immediately to prevent further damage?
