I have to agree with michbial, that a clear liquid isn't going to wear away much. Perhaps aggressive, being highly solvating would be a better term. Something formulated to dissolve deposits could harm rubber too.

Here in America, I run cheap gas, seldom use cleaners, and see little problems.
