Do not flush your gearboxes! clean them with a system cleaner type of detergent for few days before changing the oil. It removes sludge and varnish, and leaves the gearbox clean when you drain the oil to fill then with the clean oil. No risks of dilutions or mixtures. Let me know if you need help to find the system cleaner.
