recently unknown to me Amsoil is NOT a PAO based oil any more, no announcements just change the formula to a cheaper to make product while continuing to raise the price. my 2001 audi TT roadster has been using more oil lately even after changing from a 10-30 to a 10-40 Amsoil top line oils. can see Redline in the future or maybe Mobil I extended performance. just changed oil but will continue to research a better lubricant. i changed yearly with a 6 month filter change, prolly 5,000 miles as its my summer car
