Mobil 1 Ext. Performance - SM?

Awhile back I was told by Mobil that they are working on a GF-4/SM rated Mobil 1 Extended Performance. About a month ago, their lead tech guy said that they are going to continue to make 2 Mobil 1's and that the regular M1 makes up about 70% of the sales.

So, does anyone think Mobil will go back to 1 Mobil 1 again and why havn't they done this to begin with? Cost? ZDDP is cheap so they say....
