So what would the limits be for a 5W30 oil in a gas engine? A recent oil analysis by OAI said my Visc100C was 15.3 which puts it solidly in the 40 grade. Oddly they mark that ABNORMAL yet say to continue to use the oil (I changed it with the analysis).
