Dear Feroje,

The increase in TAN value is warning towards the increased Oxidation process in the oil. This may lead to oxidation by products to form and deposit in the form of Varnish within the system. I would suggest you to share your Oil analysis report at my email address and I can suggest you the recommended corrective action.
