What’s the Appeal of Lab-Created Diamonds?

I’ve recently started hearing a lot about lab-grown diamonds and how they’re changing the jewelry market. I’m curious—are they really as good as natural diamonds in terms of sparkle and durability? Would they hold their value if I were to sell them in the future?
