Read our primer articles on High Mileage Oil, Synthetic Oil and Kinematic Viscosity

Hello.

I would like to know what should be the viscosity of the grease's based oil(in Cst value at 40°C)and the thickener viscosity(in NLGI value)that is matched to manual window regulator gears?(attached photos). The window regulator is used to lift the window of the car and it operated manually by hand.(not by electric motor). It has metal drive gear and plastic driven gear(attached photos).
My question refer not to the type of the grease,i don't ask if i should use mineral based oil, synthetic based oil, pao, silicon etc(though,i know that the grease should be compatible with the plastic driven gear). My question is refer mainly,to the viscosity of the based oil of the grease that i should use(68cST?100Cst?900Cst? etc) and to the thickener viscosity(1,2 or 3?/NLGI).And what is the factors that make you determine this viscosity?

Thanks in advance.
