G'day,
I'm working at the R&D dept of a lube blender in Europe. With a certain interval we get customer complaints about air pockets being entrapped in Lube Shuttle cartridges resulting in half empty cartridges. The grease gun can't pump air and therefore you need to push the piston in the cartridge. Obvsioulsy this is quit annoying when a user is postioned in a difficult situation reaching for this inaccessable "I can just reach the grease nipple with my one-hand gun" and the gun fails.
We outsource filling of the cartridges and our (multiple) suppliers assured us that 1 out xxx cartridges will contain air and that it is common practice.
I refuse to believe this. Do you guys experience air in lube shuttle cartridges with the outcome that grease gun can't empty the cartridge?
Your help is much appreciated.
