We need to use a aluminum complex based food grade grease in caustic unloaders with DSF Swivels and the EPT Seals.Does anyone know if there is a compatibility problem between the grease and the 50% caustic ?

I would think that that high of caustic would tend to emulsify into the grease and tend to wash it out.

There are greases on the market which are have PTFE incorporated. These tend to be much more caustic and acid resistance. Speak to your supplier.

Sure, many white food grade greases have PTFE incorporated. Al-Complex is known to have good resistance to water and acids, and therefore have been used in the food industry because of its non-toxicity and because of resistance to alcaline cleaners used in that industry.
You may also look into Calcium Sulfonate Complex greases that have better water resistance, either alcaline or acid, than Al-Complex. They are also non-toxic.
