Hi,

We want to reduce the water content in our oil, 3000l Gargoyle Artic SHC NH 68, from 300 ppm to < 50 ppm.

What is the best way to do this? Purifier? Adsorption? Absorption? ....

The oil is 100% saturated with NH3. It's a compressor oil. This causes some problems with the use of vacuum dehydrators...

The oil temperature is minimal 80°C and max 120°C.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards,

Hanne

Hanne,

Is it screw compressor?
Is the lube oil tank is pressurized? if yes it may around 12 - 21 barg, isn't it?

In this case....No, you cannot use vacuum Dehydration System.
If you want to, Coalescer System may be help.

But your concentration of water only 300 PPM
I don't think so, that it is really water.
It may only chemical reaction of Karl Fischer agent and PAG oil, which resulting (detected) as water.

For PAG Type of oil, i put alert on 2000 PPM and 4000 PPM on critical
