Here's how you do the actual analysis:

Before you change oils:

1) Measure voltage(3-phase) & unit amps(A) for the particular piece of equipment.

2) Convert to kW = ((A)x(V)x1.76))/1000

3) Determine Hours of operation per interval

4) Identify Cost($$) per KwH from historical billing data

5) Calculate Energy Cost: (2) x (3) x (4)

Once you switch oil you can do the same calculation for the new oil.

The difference between the two is your energy savings (theoretically).
