Generator ISO Grade 32 vs 46 Usage

What has been the experience with using ISO Grade 46 viscosity mineral oil in electric generators that have the tradional journal/thrust bearing arrangement with bearing jacking oil? If used were any problems incurred due to oil whip or any other vibration related issues due to change in viscosity?
