Acutally Satish makes a good point. That article that he referred you to is right on the money. I'd also like to make another suggestion that has helped me tremendously. I use an automatic luber. I've tried many over the years and got nothing but headaches. Then, a colleage of mine recommended a product by the name of Pulsarlube. It gives an exact amount of grease everytime cause it's a micrprocessor chip controlled. What I liked best about this product is that it is low cost, high power, and best of all, low cost. Good luck.
Hello,
Like Bill has said, the Pulserluber is great for your application. I have several dozen of these units to a local paper mill for use on their electrical motors. They have been using them for about 2 years and are very happy with their perfomance. These Pulsarlubers are refillable with the type of grease you want. My customer uses Chevron SR1 as well as Shell A**ania R2 greases. The dispensing rate of the Pulsarluber is based on the motor manufacturer's recommendations. I have info on this product at my website: www.mylubemana***.com.
