Grease Information

What kind of motor? Electric, gas, diesel??? What are they used for? What kind of load are they under. Need a little more info to be able to make recomendations.

Acutally Satish makes a good point. That article that he referred you to is right on the money. I'd also like to make another suggestion that has helped me tremendously. I use an automatic luber. I've tried many over the years and got nothing but headaches. Then, a colleage of mine recommended a product by the name of Pulsarlube. It gives an exact amount of grease everytime cause it's a micrprocessor chip controlled. What I liked best about this product is that it is low cost, high power, and best of all, low cost. Like Bill has said, the Pulserluber is great for your application. I have several dozen of these units to a local paper mill for use on their electrical motors. They have been using them for about 2 years and are very happy with their perfomance. These Pulsarlubers are refillable with the type of grease you want. My customer uses Chevron SR1 as well as Shell A**ania R2 greases. The dispensing rate of the Pulsarluber is based on the motor manufacturer's recommendations.
