Greases for Bosch power tools

try a greaes of NLGI # 1 if this is a high speed tool. A grease with 10 - 20% ester content will give very good results and reduce the bearing temperature enabling the user to use the equipment for longer time.

If nothing is available, try a grase with base oil viscosity of about 46 ISO VG

LGMT 3 was recommeded by SKF. I wonder that the grease with NLGI 3 can not stand against overheating. So, would it be better with NLGI 1?

probably the reason bearing is getting overheated is higher base oil viscosity and / or higher % of thickener (because of NLGI # 3).

Polyurea thickners will handle this well, base oil should be < ISO 100, Exxon/Witco Polyureas use a passive EP system so I would be inclinde to find the correct grease then "loosen" the thicker with a little ISO 68 Hydraulic oil blended into the grease until the "correct feeling" viscosity is found, Polyureas tend to be thixiotrophic so when in the load zone become fluid and then regel once out of the action of gears abd breaings.
