What is the acceptable limit of H2S in gas turbine lube oil?

Dear QWWT

The first thing you should do, is running oil analysis to your oil, according ASTM D-4378.

You should analyse Flash Point and Viscosity. The presence of H2S will decrease your flash point, and your viscosity.

The ASTM D-4378 normative establish limits for both tests.

If you detect presence of H2S, you could easyly remove it with an Oil Purifier (Air Stripping), working with Nitrogen.
