If it would help, I can pass on some contact details to you of some people who may be able to help out. Drop me an email, admin@lubemate.com.au
There is a company that services the super pit in Kalgoorlie that would be a good source of information along with another company that services Xstrata in Townsville and Mt Isa.
Drop me an email and I'll pass on some details.
Even the most expensive "filter carts" still rely on antiquated technology that removes only a few grams of contaminants before the cartrudges need to be changed. Conventional filtration methods also do not remove the "degredated oil" sludge from the fluid, as it is allowed even in a thick fluidity, to pass through the filter medium. However, Alpha Omega Centrifuge Inc. has a mobile cart formatted centrifuge oil cleaning system that is proven in testing with industry and the US ARMY, to not only remove even the most fine abrasive particulates to below 1/10th of a micron, but WILL remove the grease-like sludge that includes SPENT or WORN-OUT additives, degredated or "burnt" oil, as well as trace amounts of water. With our water removal cartridges, the system can remove quarts of water from a working system. Oil cleanliness levels far below minimum requirement for pump and valve manufacturers are regularly achieved, and cleaner-than-new oil in a working hydraulic system is guaranteed. Juddy,

Both PALL Australia and Mining and Hydraulic supplies have some very good setup for what you want. You should get a copy of their catalogues to see what is out there in the market and ask them for similar setups that you are after.
You will need to consider an overall approach to contamination control via the following:-
1. Oil supplier - is the oil filtered and at what cleanliness level once received on site. You will need to talk to supplier if you are interested in filtered oil.
2. Site storage tanks - are there proper air filtered/dessicant breathers and filtration system on these tanks.
3.Workshop - are there filtration systems to the hose reels? Are the hoses capped when not in use.
4. Service trucks - what breathers and filtration systems are on these trucks.
5. Equipment - what filtration systems are these trucks and are they adequate. How often will periodic kidney looping be done.

Don't forget to include coolant filtration systems. Also have a program in place to track the cleanliness code via both the automatic lazer particle method and filterpatch method.

I hope this helps
