Dear All, I tested hyd oil(foaming test), high millipore - 3 micron (result dark colour), more than 5, but normal cleanliness methode ISO4406, spectrometry and tendency.does anyone have this experience?

It is possible you have sub micron oxidation by products, less than 4 microns. What type of hydraulic system is this?
Thanks Eric, its HTC 46 TP, what the recommendation should be? As far as I know the smallest filter in the unit is only 5 micro
Without knowing your specific application, I suggest you start with FTIR (oxidation), MPC (.45 micron patch for varnish), and/or Gravametric Solids (.8 micron patch). Talk to a qualified lab for specific details and with results get to the root cause.Overheating, extended oil drain interval without add oil, hot spots in system and microdieseling are common causes for low PC and sub micron contamination. Thank Eric,just got info breather reservoir clogged and replaced,its should be the root cause,which causes the oxidation.oil life around 3500 hours,if the condition is not getting better,we plan to change it.many thanks
