Hi, in a ship engine (4-stroke) oil I have very high sodium and chlorine content, but very very low water content: which may be the cause?

Your answer comes very strange to me: i suspected some strange mechanism throughout water contaminates oil and then evaporate... i didn't think about intake air.

The air intake on a marine vessel will usually have some spray and mist. if the baffles are not in good working order this can permit salt to enter the combustion process.
Please tell me how the oil is cooled so we can investigate other ways the salt can come into the oil.

Has the lead/pb increased?
If no, check raw water charge air cooler, (drains on charge air trunking after cooler?)
If yes check for engine coolant internal leak.
