we are facing high temperature in the gear box , followed by high WPC. checked the oil, the visocisity, Load carrying capacity all are ok. what are the probabale reasons?

What has changed? Your PM schedule has been on-going and this has started occuring all of a sudden? Does the gear lube meet OEM specs? Are the gears worn down? Lots of missing information. The simpliest explanation and easiest to fix would be wrong gear lube but that answer is premature without more information.
Hi Shail, as Mr Morgan has written not enough info to be able to assist, if you can provide the type of drive, the KW/HP, the temperature attained that caused concern, the ISO particle count from the oil test when you checked the viscosity there may be enough info to start to assist, we are not permitted to guess on here as the wrong advice could damage a machine and maybe cost someone their job. High Temperature Grease is a type of solid lubricant used in bearings and moving parts of machinery usually operates under extreme pressure and temperature. Ordinary greases tend to break down and collapse under extreme temperature and pressure zones. Hence the selection of High Temperature Grease is essential for bearings in steel mills and gas fired ovens etc.
