Do chlorinated esters combine with all ferrous metals or is stainless especially suceptable?

I have been using Weapon Shield, which contains good amounts of Chlorinated EP, without issue for years.

Well ya, the Grant Cunningham article got me thinking about chlorinated esters - but when I researched it on the net, it doesn't seem like it takes too much of the stuff to corrode stainless steel.
