pls suggest hydraulic oil filtration system for in line pressurised system. we want to filter up to 0.5 micron particles.

Hi, why do you need to filter to that micron? Usually in normal industrial conditions, 3000 psi and above 15/13/10 (3 micron)would suffice for severe conditions.I guess it depends on the application and the atmosphere. Brett
Many systems are available to filter at very high pressures. Look at a Parker catalog and you will see some representative filters and housings that go to very high pressures. Some companies can also make a special filter that will fit a high pressure housing to reach the range of 1 micron, and possibly a bit more. However, I suspect that somewhere in your system there is a supply tank or a bypass line from a regulator. This is a better place to put a filtration system.
Bypass and kidney loop systems, being low pressure and nearly atmospheric, offer lot more options. ISOPur and many of our competitors make systems that can get your oil well into the submicron range and they go in the bypass line, or as a stand-alone external system. If you clean the storage tank oil, you clean all of the oil. Usually, in-line systems are there to protect critical components and are sized for the clearances encountered in pumps, bearings and valves. They don't do much to really clean oil, they just protect components. A good electrostatic system on the tank will clean oil without the complications of small micron size, high pressure filtration systems.
The other thing to consider is cleaning the filter. A kidney loop system can be shutdown and the filters replaced while the machine continues to operate. Usually, online high pressure systems are a bit more complicated when it comes to changing filters. Unless dual filters are used along with some three port valves, the machine will need to be shutdown for a filter change. This is not always convenient.

TAN of hydraulic oil new should be always less than 1.
Our DNR Corp HYD oil68 has TAN of 0.00022 means if it gets mixed with metal working fluid than also it will not contaminate MWF.Hence life of MWF will increase drastically. In case of injection machines this oil will outperform because to reach tan of more than 1 it will take around 10000 hrs.

Please take care of electrostatic charge when you are going to apply filters with less than 3 mic pore size.
Usually selecting a smaller pore size filter not only is worst but also gives you an oil with plenty of submicroscopic particles and consequent problems.

Understand your worry, but now, this problem will not happen easily.
