First, I am not posting this message for a barrage of salesmen to reply to, this is intended for the end users of the product.
I have an application, which calls for a FM approved Fire Resistant Hydraulic fluid for use in Steam Driven Turbine. This particular work site is located in the N.W. of USA. The product that I have located must be delivered from the East coast of the USA. If anyone has information which I can obtain this fluid from a closer source, (or a just a source, I can check) It would be much appreciated.
Here are the spec's:
Fire resistant Turbine Hydraulic Fluid – FM approved.
Meets Cincinnati Milacron Spec. #P-69
Meets ASTM-D-665
Viscosity - 320.0 SUS @ 100F
66.4 SUS @ 210F
V.I - 187
TAN - <1.0 KOH/g
Pour Point - (-40F)
Flash Point - (500F)
Boiling Point - (>500F)
Seal Compatibility - Viton, Buna N, Nylon, Polyurethene.
Marginal Compatibility - Butyl, EPR, Neoprene
