Read our primer articles on High Mileage Oil, Synthetic Oil and Kinematic Viscosity

Well everybody take note of the kinder/gentler synlube. Plan 'A' the attack of the multiple poster didn't work. Plan 'B' where we all get along is next.

I will continue to point out all the lies and deception of this bottom feeder company. An educated public will never purchase this goop. As synlube takes the truth personal, I have no problem pointing out all the lies and fallacies.

A look back at the lies put forth by this firm is necessary. This will take some time as their are just so many whoppers to sift threw.
While it is true we don't see synlube throwing up 4 ball tests...

It also true that we have seen claims that are impossible to verify. Such as a FTP-75 test. Or that AAA test.

We've also seen claims of Shell/Pennzoil not having API ratings.

Of multiple mail drops that showed nothing.

A claim to be in the DoE operated Nevada Test Area. That one took a simple email to sink.

Claims that only their pet lab understands the goop. And no explaination as to why test samples have different viscosities.

The lack of a MSDS until 3/19/10, and claims that it was altered by someone, (me), who never saw it til it was posted here.

Then we have the rabid attacks by anyone who didn't like this juice being questioned.

Every forum they tried to peddle this stuff, it was run out of town on a rail. And rightfully so

Nucleardawg, I'm not an oil-educated person, so I can't argue for or against the stuff in a scientific or personal user fashion. Nor can I argue for or against their licence being forfited and all the rest of that stuff. Could be true. I can't be bothered and don't have the time or inclination to find out. In time, and who knows how long that will be since it has been around for a long time, we'll find out whether the stuff is good or not. But I can't get away from the fact that Capt. Kirk and several others have used it in their vehicles for many tens of thousands of miles and have reported their findings.
So they say...Have you met them, or seen their vehicles? You see synlubers have had all sorts of fantastical claims....Anyone remember the DOE site they claimed their blending facilities were located at...LOL...They can claim anything thay want....After all their lies I believe nothing from this 'low budget' firm...

Synlube is a joke...plain and simple...the blame can be left at the door of 'synlubers' who tried their agressive tactics at the wrong places....The results of which can be seen for anyone whoever googles this 'goop'.

If 1 or 2 people choose to use this 'slop' so be it...But don't pi$$ down MY back, and tell ME it's raining...It's 'GOOP'...

When I read of synlube claims.this quote comes to mind: Change Madison to Miro.

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

In another thread, the claim was made that 5w-50 was the best oil to use. According to synlube...

If that's true, then I'd use M1 5w-50. Both API and ACEA A3/B3 rated. Unlike..... you know what....

Well in my case, I know people who have used Amsoil, RL, Mobil 1 and many other oils. I also know mechanics and a machine shop owner so when I ask about products I get info from people I trust. I use the WWW to gather info then ask about it if it interests me.

Knowing the Synlube people via the WWW to me is meaningless. To others there might be some value, to those people give Miro your CC # pay him $32/qt and go for it. It was clear they had an agenda, and were exposed as a fraud scam operation from what I've read here. That type of Internet info I consider valuable. JMO
