Hello all,

My site has been using the Petrocan Thermex grease in our high temperature applications, in particular for the sliding bearing pedestals of our steam generators. Thermex has been discontinued and the generators are on a 6-year maintenance cycle and the grease channels/ports can't be readily purged. Does anyone know of a grease that is chemically compatible with Thermex that can be used in this kind of application?

Regards,

Searching for an alternative grease for the sliding bearings in steam generators that use Petrocan Thermex. It's a valid question, especially considering that Thermex is no longer available and that getting rid of old grease is difficult.
