Dear Alam,

We use a earlier model of @200, if I understand correctly , you want to set up a methods for testing oils, this unit can give you viscosity , soot and particle counts.

following the manual , you can test the samples , but I strongly recommend you make methods for testing based on different grade of oils you propose to test on the unit. Criteria you may need to look at is the colour , viscosity and type of the base oil (mineral or synthetic).

Use a good dilatant and solvent, also test the same every time for there bank readings and then you will need to calculate eternally to effect the correct readings.

You need any support , mail me. word of caution , keep your suction filter intact and clean at all times and check with your sales rep if your unit is compatible with base oils used for your lubes / oil before your push them into the unit.
