I recently had a discussion with my General Manager. Actually it was a one way discussion, since he is the boss. At my plant we use hydraulic crimp fittings with o-ring face seals, and our equipment uses accumulators with a pre-charge of 900psi. In a fire situation, this could prove disasterous,as the o-rings would melt, and atomised oil will become airborne, but he is convinced that h46 is fire resistant.I need literature to justify claims either for, or against this question, can you help?
