Read our primer articles on Oil Analysis and Tribology

hello guys,
i been doing a lot of research on oil burning lately. I bought the book sponsored by noria, "how to select a motor oil and filter for your car and truck".
I drive a 2001 prelude and it burns oil like A sprinter drinks water. no obvious external oil leaks.I have not done a compression test but that is on my todo list. I've come to the conclusion that my car drinks oil because of improper break in. here's an article im sure most of you will be interested in in breaking in cars http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

but back to the topic at hand. I have tried many oil additives because I am that depress and my last one I am going to try is "restore" has anyone used it?
and please if anyone has any suggestion please be blunt.

Tuong,

If we address Buck's approach to this situation, there is a product call a "Condensator" that will easily adapt to your PVC system. It will be very evident by visual inspection if you are getting excessive blowby.
Also, it will trap this blowby preventing carbonization from attacking the rest of your engine. I am not a salesman, just a end user. The additive will only treat the symptom not the issue. If I rember correctly this product is approximately 120-150 us dollars.
