Cata2200,

Seeking equivalent by name is not always right. Mikhail has correctly zeroed-in on the application for the equivalent ( Slideway lubricant). Specifications is another way to look at equivalents, in this instance Cincinati P 68 etc.

I would like to add here that many of the new machining centres/CNC's have a complicated hydraulic system, in such cases a special hydraulic-cum-slideway lubricant will ned to be used. Hence please do look into the actual application as well.

I agree with Hussam Adeni. It is good way for looking equivalents - to give all the gen about mechanism and its function. It is useful to give list of recommended Lubs of different oil manufacturers. Who worked very often with Lubs those knows that in different situations may use the Lubs with different destination. Good example - motor oil as compressor oil, hydraulic oil, or transmission oil, and so on. Of course, it is need to rest on required OEMs specification first.
Truly yours,
