More often than not, your in-service oil is cleaner than new delivered oil. It all happened during the transportation and handling. This is not a big problem if you follow procedure most companies use - to transport new oil from truck to a storage tank, and purify it before use (filling or topping off units). If you don't practice this, then you can insist on certain cleanliness of delivered oil. In this case, oil could be filtered before being pumped off of a truck through a filter mounted on the truck. Consequently, it is logical to expect for such delivered oil to be more expensive.
