My baseline testing of the Mobil SHC line of oils indicates that the phosphorus content is around 700 to 900 PPM for new oil. Its an EP additive that will decrease over time as the additives are depositied on the internal metal surfaces of the machine. Baseline your new, unused oil with a full slate of tests including spectro and you will know where your starting from. In my experience any phosphorus level under 300PPM in these oils would be a flag to start trending closely or change the oil.
