Polyrex EM is very common grease for electric motors and many users will say it provides good service. Has polyurea thickener. I'm not sure what type of base oil.

Hello electtricpete. Nowhere in the data sheet states that it is PAO or PAG, it is mineral oil with a VI 95.

What for do you need this grease? You should ask for advice to your supplier technical support, or ask for technical advice to your nearest Mobil distributor.

In general, it is not necessary to produce the synthetic polyurea grease. It will be some expensive grease.
Polyurea grease with mineral oil will supplant lithium and lithium complex grease because it will out-perform them at high and low temperatures. It has better resistance to water washout and test have proven it to last twice as long a lithium and lithium complex grease.

I have used the Huskey/Slipkote Polyurea CV Joint grease for my Dodge car (CVJ & wheel bearings). The Chevron SRI grease is well-know polyurea grease (mineral).

Tedy, if you looking for very-very long life grease at normal conditions, please look at PFPE (perfluoropolyether) grease. This is the best around the world, but expensive.
