Problem in H.T.Motor

Dear all,

i need your help regarding my H.T.motor. we have ABB make H.T.motor rated 1150kW.the RPM of Motor is 1440.we do the regreassing on last month 10th Dec.after that motor was running fine bu suddenly on 2nd Jan.morning the temperature was shoot up very high it's more than 90Deg.Cent. we checked all parameter like Load condition,Vibration,etc but all are normal we used ExxonMobil make PolyRex (Poly Urease base Grease). kindly give us the idea about this matter how it can happened?

AGP,

how you ensure that the grease was lubricate the bearing?
Or the grease just standing near the bearing, not to lubricate it

It was happened on our equipments.

AGP - did any other change occur around the time when the temperature increased? Assuming the motor is operating frequently, it's hard to connect a re-greasing event on 12/10/10 to a temperature spike 3 weeks later. If the problem is too much grease, the wrong grease or some other cause related to the greasing on 12/10, I'd expect to see any problems show up within the first few days or even hours of operation.
