I know that a truncated waveform can indicate a rub but all textbook examples I see only show the truncation on the positive peak. I see truncations on both ends of the waveform. Is what I'm seeing a rub or something else?

first time i hear truncated waveform. it is wise if you can attach the unfiltered orbit
truncated waveform on both side could mean that you are rubbing on several spots instead of one spot, check your orbit you could see a flat spot and loops because of 1/2 x RPM that is generated

both sides TWF truncation is highly attributed to heave rubbing in many bearing positions.
