We are in the process of putting together a more thorough oil analysis program for our plant. We use turbine oil Shell Turbo T 68 and T 32. In training it was suggested that we run a RPVOT or RULER test at least once a year. Which test is better? As far as cost goes, there is a significant difference. The RULER being the cheaper of the two. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
