Hi Alam, I'm inclined to treat TAN or AN as a trend line and test the new lubricant then resample monthly and what you are checking for is an elevation over time of the TAN line, all samples should go through the same lab so the same procedure is used and the new oil is the start point. if you have not tested the new oil for TAN you can't really evaluate off the used oil tests as we don't know the start point, regards
