Has anyone developed oil analysis accepatance criteria for twin screw compressors that use dino oil? I have a machine that has a water content of 0.5%. This machine has been run unloaded for a good portion of its operating time and was probably not running hot enough to prevent the water formation. Any real world data would be appreciated.

rgf12,

acceptance criteria for what parameters?
water content?

You can conduct to your OEM Smile
but for your information that state on ASTM D 6224, for In-Service Oil of Air Compressor, water content shall not more than 0.05%wt per 3 months
