Your child isn't the only one that becomes uncomfortable when they overheat. Additionally, it can raise their risk of SIDS and other issues like heat rash as they sleep. Read the signs baby is too hot while sleeping.

  • Sweating: Damp hair or clothing.
  • Flushed skin: Red or warm to the touch.
  • Rapid breathing: Faster than usual.
  • Restlessness: Unusual fussiness or discomfort.
  • Hot neck or back: Overheating in covered areas.

To ensure comfort, dress the baby in light, breathable clothing, and keep the room temperature between 68-72°F (20-22°C). Avoid blankets or heavy bedding.
