The gear-oil (viscosity grade 320) used in an enclosed industrial box has gelled (semi solid) what can I use to dissolve it to facilitate draining?

I am assuming the gel is black-brown in color, which usually come from accumulation of undissolved EP additive. The smell is strong.
And I am assuming also, you are running on normal ambient temperature (30 - 45 degree C)
What is the oil volume tank capacity?
Is the gearbox has problem?
if all are OK, and the gel just found on the regular PM oil replacement, so just flush the gaeabox using the same fresh operating oil, run it for 24 hours, and drain it.

Many thanks Nurudin. Yes, the gel is black but the temp was elevated at 58 degrees C. We have managed to flush the gearbox.
