Hiya,
Graphite electrodes and rods are the same as for the newest Spectroil machines.
I seriously doubt Spectro Inc will provide support for the machine.
I actually have a Spectroil J (cost me $1000), I am meant to use as backup, the interface is a bit unintuitive but integration for sending results via RS232 seemed easy enough. It also of course lacks a few elements that we are used to seeing.
So apart from a few test runs I have never operated the thing, once we got our ICP we have never looked at it again. If you want you can buy our one for cheap (and you know it works), only thing is we'd have to ship it to you from here in S. Africa. Shipping alone would probably double the cost.
