I would avoid a test like this. It is extremely limited in it's scope of items tested.

The only safe way to judge oil condition is to have a used oil analysis performed. It test for viscosity (fluid thickening or thinning), contamination, acid neutralization reserve, additive package... There are numerous test performed by trained professionals in a controlled lab environment. Some of the best in the business can be found in the resources page right here on Noria's site. You draw a sample into the provided bottle (only a couple of ounces) and mail it to the lab. They mail or email the results to you. Simple as that.
