Texaco URSA X10 Way Oil

I have a way application on a 60 year old machine that is calling for Texaco URSA X10 oil for the way system. Does anyone know what that oil was as the URSA line are now motor oils.

Hi, the oil you refer to has tackiness and adhesion qualities that other oils do not have. Waylube is used for many apps, namely-lathes,milling machines,etc.....Im not up on the exact oil designation you refer to, but have used (Texaco) waylube in the past(20+yrs. ago).Texaco has added friction modifiers to enhance the lubricating qualities of their waylube to prevent "sticktion". Texacos current waylube will probably work fine but if in doubt,call the Texaco rep. Hope this helps- Brett
