The difference between RPVOT & RBOT

I can't make the difference between these two methods. Anyone can help?

Just a name change my friend, I dont believe anyone likes to hear the name bomb today as in RBOT or rotating bomb oxidation test. RPVOT = rotating pressure vessel oxidation test sounds a little better to the public ear.

Depending on the oil your running this on I would be concerned with the repeatability, please see Lamont B Dumont's post, were seeing an error of 25 to 30%, these are not good numbers for an expensive test.
