When or should one use an anti-sieze on the interface between the tapered shaft and hub of a high temperature furnace recirculation blower fan wheel? I have talked to many and there does not appear to be a consensus of opinion. Some say yes to ease the removal and some say no because eventually expansion and contract will allow the impeller to become loose on the tapered shaft.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all.

There is no restriction to apply an antiseize paste for assembly of all parts in furnaces. The world of antiseize is big in itself. some years back we tried 20 assembly pastes for furnaces, put them at 800 degrees C and only 2 could be disassembled afterfew hours. the rest all seized. so, be carful on the one you use. The best ones were metallic base Silver colored,

do not the black(graphite-MoS2)nor the copper types.
