turbine oil became dark green

A turbine oil became dark green within one year time in 600MW turbine. Except the green color, all the properties such as anti-rust,demulsification,cleaness,RBOT,TAN,etc.are very good. The green color resolve in the oil very well,it can't be removed by filtering the oil through the paper in laborotory. Who ever met such case? How to deal with such case?

Hi Hui

Is Copper is normal?

Copper can create green colours,

is particle count normal?
If not check by microscope as there may be a contamination occuring the testing has not detected,
If all other test results are OK lubricant is most likely fit for use but if the turbine was in my care I would be concerned and have to find out why,

let us know when you find the cause
