Water in Oil on Vilter Ammonia Screw Comp

Hello, Newbie here. I have a Vilter VRS-1700 Screw compressor on one of our ice making units that in a very short time has turned up on the lube oil condition tests having free water contamination. We will of course change out the oil but I am looking for the root cause here. This machine has been in service for many years and this condition has never come up before. I am looking to find what has changed. Any input would be most welcome.
