we have an hydraulic reservoir with mist oil or Smoke-like oil from the cap, but we have temperature of 60 °C. what are the root causes of this phenomena? the flash point of oil is already 200 °C, but we don't have this temperature. and the oil do not smell burning.

please your opnion and expertise in this case.

I have been looking into possible causes, but have you done any oil analysis on the system yet? I have seen reports of a bad valve (or wrong valve for an application) or even a damaged pump causing this type of fog.

Thanks for your reponse. The oil have properties in normal parameters.

the most probable is the oil leak to the sahft of pumps that lead mechanical shear and pulveritazion of oil.
